Programs & Activities

Helping Hands offers free budgeting classes at the applicants’ convenience.  Classes are available on an individualized basis. Volunteers are willing to meet around your schedule.

Although providing for emergency needs is the primary goal of Helping Hands, relationships with applicants often become mentoring opportunities that last for extended periods of time. We assist in a wide variety of ways:

  • Continue to Address Budgeting Issues
  • Make the Applicants Aware of Job Opportunities
  • Problem Solving
  • Fill Out Forms
  • Help Handicapped Applicants Receive Commodities
  • Find Other Ways to Stretch Their Budgets

We collaborate with agencies and businesses to assist families in crisis by connecting them to additional resources.
